This is something that we all think about when creating a new collection.
It's like when you ask to your favorite singer or writer where he/she found the idea to write that song or that book, and they often answer that it's a moment and they don't know where it comes from!
Sometimes it's an idea, something that comes suddenly in your mind and gives you the right mood to start creating.
Other times it's a team work, because it always takes a village to create a new line!
Everyone gives their own point of view and creates a special feeling all around.
But it can also happen that find a particular fabric, with its own story and background, and you start from it.
That's what happened when we found some unique piece of Kantha fabric.
It's a special textile that comes from India, the composition is 100% cotton, it has a strong personality since every and pieces is absolutely unique and it's not possible to find another with the same texture and coloring!
When we found it fabric from India, we knew that something special was happening.
So we created a small capsule with this fabric, that is available at collective shop Die Macherei in Zurich!
